Midlands World Trade Forum
The Midlands World Trade Forum works closely with partners such as UK Trade & Investment – the Government organisation that helps UK companies develop their international trade potential. It is also connected with other international trade organisations and networks nationally.
The forum has connections with Embassies and Consulates across the globe ensuring that members remain connected to useful business associations and networks enhancing the international trade footprint in the region.
The Midlands World Trade Forum is a business lead network that is driven by global traders in the region.
It works closely with UK Trade & Investment – the Government organisation that helps UK companies develop their international trade potential and the West Midlands Chambers of Commerce. These partnerships and many more provide a platform of signposting for members for an all-round support mechanism for businesses developing their international trade strategies
The aim of the Midlands World Trade Forum (MWTF) is to positively help companies develop their international trade and export performance.
The MWTF seeks to give assistance by providing a forum and network through which companies involved in, or aspiring to, international trade and export can:
- Come together to learn from each other’s international trade experiences
- Access relevant export support services
- Make their views known on issues affecting international trade
- Obtain import and export advice
The MWTF attracts members from all sectors including manufacturing, distribution, services, sport and the creative industries and whilst covers all of the West Midlands region, is able to support organisations outside of it.
