International trade is the backbone to the UK economy, as today, without any doubt whatsoever, we are all an integral part of the global market. The lead taken by "export clubs" such as the Midlands World Trade Forum, is of the essence in mentoring and supporting small and medium sized enterprise into the market and is a key factor in giving confidence to those dipping their toe into international trade for the first time.
I whole heartedly support the efforts of the MWTF and also its increased influence in the launching of the UK International Trade Forum. The message, through the Midlands, is becoming louder and its effect spreading from region to region.
Business supporting business, players supporting players. If you want to build a global business do it from the UK; if you want to trade internationally rely on the Midlands to help you succeed.
Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham
