Quarterly Newsletter    April 2009 With this issue of our newsletter I’d like to tell you about some of the recent behind-the-scenes activity with which the MWTF Management Board has been involved.  Last year we undertook some research in order to gauge members’ opinions on MWTF and what you perceive it is that we stand for. You may have been one of those who was approached and if so then I’d like to take the opportunity to thank you for sparing the time to contribute towards this research exercise.  It was good to see from the results of the survey that there are things we are doing right and that a good proportion of members are making use of our services.  However the research also showed that we have some way to go in order to engage with more members and to demonstrate the benefits that involvement with MWTF can bring to your international trade activities and your business in general. We’re already taking steps to look at how we can improve our services, how we communicate with you and what we communicate - both directly and via the web site and we’ll be making some changes in the coming months.  There is much we do and much we can do, but most importantly we are not only looking for new members, but members who are inspired and determined to face the challenges of a changing global market, who are open to learn and share along the way, and who are ultimately willing to challenge the Forum so that we can be the best we can be.   So if that’s you and you're ready to engage even more, or for the first time, here is just a reminder of a few of the ways we can support you. Got a query on export documentation, export delivery terms etc. try our ‘Ask The Expert’ facility Having difficulty making inroads into a new market?  Will the Member Search facility reveal someone in your sector whose already ‘Experienced’ in that market. Give it a try! (E-mail us if you've forgotten your Log-in details) Needing advice on any aspect of international trade or perhaps a general query relating to your business development.  Just check with us to see if we can help.  We’re not the experts in all fields but we usually know someone who is.
