Businesses are invited to join the aerospace cluster visit to Kiev for the Aerospace Tarde Mission.
In 2010, the Ukrainian government presented a 300M EUR state programme for the aviation industry in order to modernise the Aeronautical Sector in Ukraine. Among the named priorities are further work on the AN 148, AN 70 and An 124. The group is also looking to modernise 10 other models which are assembled in the Ukraine and Russia. As a consequence, Ukraine is looking at developing new aircraft and to modernise the existing ones.
The types of services / products which would be appropriate for the trade mission would be:
· Production of the specific component parts (producers of composites, aircraft systems e.g. avionics, interiors...) · Software/ equipment /moulds/tools for composites/steel/titanium/aluminium · Repair, overhaul and maintenance · New technology · Installation of European equipment · Testing and certification · Promotion / bringing ANs to European markets · Post sales servicing in Europe
During our stay in Kiev, we will also be visiting the 7th International Aviation and Space Salon Aviasvit XXI where approximately 300 international companies will be exhibiting.
